These talented individuals hail from diverse communities, including Matobo, Binga, Beitbridge, Bulawayo, and Gwanda, showcasing a rich tapestry of innovation and commitment to sustainability.

The Green Skills Boot Camp, now in its third day, has proven to be a transformative experience for participants.

The Boot Camp aims to equip young people, particularly young women, with practical and market-relevant green skills, fostering entrepreneurial capabilities that are essential for navigating the emerging Green Economy.

The program emphasizes the importance of sustainable practices and aims to empower youth to become leaders in their communities.

The semifinalists have engaged in a variety of workshops and training sessions designed to enhance their understanding of green technologies, sustainable practices, and business development strategies.

By collaborating with industry experts and mentors, they have honed their innovative ideas, preparing them for today’s elevator pitch presentations.

WILD recognizes the dedication and hard work that each semifinalist has put into their projects, which address critical environmental issues and aim to create meaningful employment opportunities.

Their ideas range from renewable energy solutions to waste management initiatives, highlighting the potential for grassroots innovation to drive change in their communities.

As the participants gear up for their elevator pitches, they are not only showcasing their innovative solutions but also demonstrating the potential impact of youth involvement in the green sector.

WILD and its partners encourage everyone to support these young leaders as they present their visions for a more sustainable future.

WILD extends its best wishes to all semifinalists for their presentations today. Their commitment to greening their communities is commendable and serves as an inspiration for others.
