ABOUT YCA4SOTRA

Youth Collective Action for Social Transformation (YCA4SoTra) project is a EU-funded project, whichaims to empower young people including young women in their diversity to participate in governance and policy dialogue, particularly on issues affecting them, such as climate change, poverty and unemployment. Coming together to address these issues, Save the Children (SC), Students and Youth Working on reproductive Health Action Team (SAYWHAT) and Women’s Institute for Leadership Development (WILD) are implementing the Action “Youth Collective Action for Social Transformation in Zimbabwe” (YCA4SoTra). The Project is anchored on Supporting women and youth to use digital technologies to amplify their voices in advocating for green economic opportunities and promote environmentally sustainable policy environment. The Project is being implemented in Bulawayo, Matobo, Binga, Beitbridge and Gwanda Districts in the Southern Region of Zimbabwe.

YCA4SOTRA Board members

YCA4SOTRA board, which serves as a platform for young volunteers responsible for:
(1) District programming input and advisory services;
(2) Relationship Building entrepreneurs to voice their needs and concerns;
(3) Represent young people.
The YCA4SOTRA Board advocates for policies and initiatives that foster an enabling
environment for youths in the green economic empowerment ecosystem.
